Do you have internet access?
Yes
Are their TVs in the Cabins?
No. But there is a satellite TV in the Lodge.
Do the cabins have A/C?
No, we are powered by generator and the system isn't capable of that kind of electrical output.
Do the cabins have 3 piece bathrooms and hot running water?
Yes
Do the cabins have electricity 24/7?
Yes, our generators run quietly and unnoticed 24/7

FISHING RELATED QUESTIONS

Do you supply Minnow Buckets?
Yes
Do you supply PFDs (life jackets)?
Yes, but we do not have sizes to fit children or larger people. So please bring your own if you or your children fall into those categories. The law states that each PDF in the boat must properly fit each person in the boat.
Do you supply Bait?
Usually, But, it's a good idea to buy the bait of your choice before arrival.
Do you supply Boat nets?
Yes. Do you sell licenses?
No, stop in town at any of the 3 shops for licenses, tell them you are staying with us and they will let us know you have arrived.

Can we fish on the day of arrival?
Yes.
Can we fish in the evening?
Yes, but only till dusk as our boats do not have running lights.
What will the weather be like while we are there?
We have No idea! Please plan & pack for any kind of weather possible. We are pretty sure it's not going to snow in July or August. Bring rain gear, cool & hot weather clothing and your swim suit in case you want to swim, enjoy our sail boat or the hot tub.
When is the best time for fishing?
Anytime is a good time, it depends on individual skill & the weather, fishing varies from day to day.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Do you sell Beer or Alcohol?
No, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Do you have a store?
No, we do sell T-shirts & hats, but do not sell grocery items, cigarettes, beer, etc. We make several trips to town each week and we will gladly pick up what you need or you can take your rental boat to town if you like.
What else can I do while I'm there?
You can enjoy a peaceful relaxing stay, paddle the canoe along the shoreline to discover wildlife and gorgeous scenery, take your camera along! You might just see a bear, deer, otters, beaver, mink, loons or martin. Swim and enjoy the sun, relax in the Lodge, read a book, watch TV, nap, or all of the above.

WHAT SHOULD WE BRING?

FISHING:

A light weight rod for Walleye, Bass & Crappie, a medium to heavy weight rod for Northern, Trout & Musky.
Spare line, 8 lb. test for light weight rods, 30lb. test braided line for medium to heavy rods.
Tackle box: Jigs 1/8 - 3/8 oz. (typically 1/4 oz.) in any colour, plain lead colour works too. Spinner Baits, with white skirts or colours combined with white. Good quality leaders, 6" minimum. Buck tails, CowGirls, Bulldogs. For bigger fish, the early season starts with smaller baits, as the season goes on, the baits get larger. You can always call us for details on what is working at the present time.
Bug repellant & "After Bite" or something similar (the bugs aren't too bad here on the Island, but they can be present out on the lake in the evening)
Sunglasses
Compass or GPS
Camera & it's USB cable in case you want to share your photos with us
Filet knife
First-Aid Kit
